The name isn't what you think (we love this clock!) but it's catchier than "steel-oval-black." Half of the textured stainless steel background is painted glossy, textured black. Chunky black and silver hands stand out against the oval face of hand-colored copper. The copper pendulum swings below on a black rod. (Steel background is 8x16 inches. With pendulum rod and 5½-inch round pendulum, the total length is approx. 17½ inches.)
